Septic Systems
County or municipal sewer services are not available to McLendon Hills. The Covenants require Owners in McLendon Hills to use a septic system approved by the Moore County public health authority in accordance with local ordinances.
Most Owners’ septic systems are located solely on their Lot. There are about 30 Owners, however, who own a non-buildable, Septic Lot and the connecting low pressure pumping lines to it, that complete their on-site system. The documents below provide general information for Owners. Please contact a licensed septic system provider or the Moore County Health Department’s Environmental Health section for questions, concerns or details about your specific septic system.
